4. AI and Voice Data

Our AI-powered services process voice and text communications to provide automated responses and insights. We handle this data with strict security measures and use it solely to deliver and improve our services. Voice recordings and transcriptions are encrypted and stored securely. You can request deletion of your voice data at any time.

5. Google User Data

Newtells offers optional integrations with Google services (Gmail and Google Calendar). If you choose to connect your Google account, we access the following data through Google's APIs:

• Gmail: We read your email messages and attachments to display your conversations inside Newtells and link them to your customer records; we send emails that you compose or schedule in Newtells; and we update message labels (for example, archiving a conversation in Newtells archives it in Gmail) and subscribe to mailbox change notifications so new messages appear in Newtells promptly.
• Google Calendar: We read, create, update, and delete calendar events to keep your Newtells appointments and your Google Calendar in two-way sync, and we list your calendars so you can choose which one to sync.
• Basic profile information: We store your email address and name so you can see which Google account is connected.

How we use this data

Google user data is used solely to provide the user-facing features described above. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties except as necessary to provide these features (for example, our cloud hosting provider), to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition where this policy continues to apply. Humans do not read your Google user data unless we have your explicit permission (for example, for support), it is necessary for security purposes or to comply with applicable law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized.

Artificial intelligence

Where Newtells' AI features process your Google user data (for example, classifying an email), this is done only to provide those features to you. We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

Storage, retention, and deletion

Google access tokens and synced data are stored encrypted. If you disconnect the integration in Settings, we revoke our access tokens and delete the Google user data we have stored within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. You can also revoke Newtells' access at any time from your Google Account security settings, and you may request deletion of your data by contacting privacy@newtells.com.

Limited Use disclosure

Newtells' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

• Service providers who assist in operating our platform
• Business partners with your explicit consent
• Legal authorities when required by law
• Successors in the event of a merger or acquisition
